300 exclusive plate numbers up for grabs in Dubai auction
Auction includes special three, four, and five-digit private and classic codes
DUBAI – Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will host its 81st online auction on 3 November 2025, featuring 300 exclusive three, four, and five-digit vehicle plate numbers.
These include codes from the series A, B, I, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z.
The auction will run for five days and is open to private and classic vehicle owners across the emirate.
When and how to register?
Registration for participation opens on 27 October 2025. Interested bidders must have an active traffic file in Dubai and submit a security cheque of Dh5,000 payable to RTA.
A non-refundable participation fee of Dh120 applies, payable online or at RTA Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Al Barsha, and Deira.
What about payments?
Successful bidders are required to settle payments within ten working days of the auction’s closure.
Cash payments are accepted up to Dh50,000, while higher amounts must be made through certified cheque or credit card. All sales will be subject to a 5% Value Added Tax.
